One of the most hotly debated topics around baptism is which name or names to use when conducting it. Many have even gone back to get rebaptized in a different name from before because they believe their baptism wasn’t authentic when doing it the first time under a certain name.
Most of this confusion stems from the scriptures being inconsistent in how baptisms were done. Jesus told us to baptize in the “Father, Son and Holy Spirit”, while the disciples simply baptized others into the “Name of Jesus/Yeshua”
So what is the truth? What name should we use when baptising others, or getting baptized?
