On the Day of Atonement, we often state: “May you be inscribed in the Book of Life.” But the scriptures also speak of other books that will be opened: Books that contain a record of everything we’ve ever done or said. Today, we have to be reminded of the reality that those books will one day be opened and used to judge us by, and as we speak, our works are being inscribed.
God calls us to be reminded of the Kingdom to come and to live for it!
