Getting comfortable as a believer remains dangerous. Many Pharisees of the first-century lost sight of why they followed the God of Israel in the first place, and exchanged the priorities of God with their own religious-passions.
It ended with them forsaking the poor & praising the great, forsaking justice, mercy & faithfulness. If we are found defending the indefensible, we might too be found opponents of Yeshua, whilst thinking we were His friend.
