Galatians 4 is by far one of the most frequent proof-texts used to “prove” that Paul abolished the Law of God. After all, in his example of Hagar and Sarah, it seems quite clear that Paul is saying that any attempts by Christians to follow God’s Law makes them “children of the slave woman”, right? This is what has been taught by many in Christianity for hundreds of years, but does the context support this claim?
