Even as believers, we can find ourselves in a prison. Has God abandoned us? How could He allow this to happen to us? And what are we to do when we face trial?
Paul & Silas found themselves in a prison, but would soon realize that all is not as it seems – that even their seemingly meaningless trial had incredible purpose in God’s Kingdom: To save a suicidal guard and bring glory to God’s faithfulness. But they needed to understand God’s heart in the midst of their trial in order to be used by God according to His purposes!
